Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott: "Disappointed by Lack of Effort from Coaches"

Ezekiel Elliott, the Ohio State running back with Heisman Trophy aspirations, only ran the ball 12 times today in the Buckeyes’ 17-14 loss to Michigan State. If you thought his lack of involvement was a bit perplexing, well, so does he.

The junior ripped the Ohio State offensive game plan after the game.

Elliott also revealed he was hospitalized earlier this week with a leg infection and had a fever that touched 103 degrees today.

The emotion is understandable after an unexpected loss and emotional week. But throwing his coaches under the bus — and then backing over them — will be a hot topic at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, where he’ll be this spring.

Should be a fun week of practice leading up to Michigan. Especially the offensive meetings.
