Spencer Bacon is entering his third season as a goalie at Mercyhurst College in Pennsylvania. He originally hails from Banff, Alberta, Canada (he doesn’t appear to have grown up a fan of Bret Hart). As many have probably pointed out in his life, he shares the last name with a type of food that folks tend to enjoy. The goalie teamed up for this photo op with Kyle Cook, who appeared in 20 games and scored two goals for the Lakers last season. One imagines that the sequel to this story will involve cooking bacon together. Stay tuned.
