Slew foots don't get much more dangerous than this.
Brad Marchand is well-known for his role as a hockey pest, but he's tended to shy away from any controversy the last two years.
But he found himself in hot water on Thursday, when he was caught slew-footing New York Rangers forward Derick Brassard into the boards midway through the second period.

When we say caught, we don't mean by the referees. The play went unpenalized, but you can see from replay angles that Marchand executed a pretty textbook slew foot.

Brassard was unhurt on the play. Whether the NHL decides to review the play after the game remains to be seen.
