Player of the Week: Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers POTWThis week’s Pro Football Player of the Week is Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers’ play in his team’s 26-21 victory over Dallas might’ve been overshadowed by the incomplete ruling on Dez Bryant’s attempted catch late in the game, but that play wouldn’t have ever occurred if not for stellar play of Rodgers in rallying the Packers from a 21-13 deficit.

Playing with a torn calf muscle, Rodgers was 24 of 35 for 316 yards and three touchdowns – including the go-ahead score into a tight window to find Richard Rodgers with 9:10 to go in the fourth quarter.

Aaron Rodgers was definitely “In the Zone” and he was named our Pro Football Player of the Week, brought to you by AutoZone, at the conclusion of playing during Westwood One’s broadcast of the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

(Westwood One analyst Boomer Esiason has the stats to show that Aaron Rodgers was In the Zone)
