VIDEO: LeBron Chasedown Block and Final Free Throw Will Live Forever in Sports Lore

`

With just under two minutes remaining, Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala led a 2-on-1 fast break. LeBron came in, out of nowhere – like a football player turboing in and chasing a kick returner at an impossible angle – and stuffed Iguodala at the rim.

`

Fast forward to the closing seconds of the game. Though conventional strategy for the Cavs, who were leading by three with under 15 seconds remaining and about a five second differential with the shot clock, would have been to hold the ball as long as possible, they went for the jugular.

LeBron tried to dunk on Draymond Green, who’d infamously hit him with a nutshot earlier in the series, rimmed out, got fouled, and came down awkwardly on his free-throw-shooting wrist. After some writhing, he got up, clanged the first, and sank the second to give the Cavs a two-possession lead and Cleveland its first championship in eons. Too many demons exorcised to list. We’re all lucky to have watched.

It goes without saying we will be seeing these plays for quite some time.
