Clint Dempsey put the U.S. ahead 1-0. DeAndre Yedlin put the U.S. in jeopardy. He earned two yellow cards within a minute, getting himself sent off in the 48th minute.

The U.S. will be down to 10 men for the entire second half. If there is a quarterfinal match, Yedlin will be suspended for it.
