White Sox to Acquire Todd Frazier in 3-Team Trade

The Chicago White Sox will get Todd Frazier from the Cincinnati Reds as part of a three-team trade that also includes the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to multiple reports. Micah Johnson, Trayce Thompson and top pitching prospect Frankie Montas are headed to the Dodgers while the Reds will acquire Jose Peraza, Scott Schebler and Brandon Dixon.

Frazier is a two-time All-Star and hit 35 home runs last season. The initial thought is that the White Sox will move Brett Lawrie to second base. The Dodgers add another potential pitching star to an already full stable.

The Reds? Well, scouts aren’t sold on the Reds’ haul.
