Down 2 late in the fourth quarter with a five-second differential between the shot and game clock, the Memphis Grizzlies decided not to foul.
Ummmm, ok?
They got the rebound and decided to NOT call timeout to advance the ball to half court without any time coming off the clock.
Ummmm, ok?
Matt Barnes then launched an ill-advised half-court three-pointer with ~3 seconds on the clock THAT FRIGGIN WENT IN.
UMMMMM, OK!!!!!!
The best part about this is the broadcaster being like: “WTF?????” while the ball is in the air. Add this to the never-ending list of NBA “NO, NO, NO, YESSSSS!” moments this season.
Here’s the full video of the moments leading up to + following this absurdity.
