Giants Reportedly Released Damontre Moore After Fight With Teammate Over Headphones

Damontre Moore was released by the Giants today. It was one of those things where reporters were initially confused why he wasn’t at practice, and then there was foreshadowing:

Indications are there was a recent incident that led to the release of NYG DE Damontre Moore, but it was also an accumulation of incidents.

It should also be noted that while Moore has appeared in 11 games this year, he hasn’t started any. He’s got three sacks, 12 tackles, and a fumble recovery. It will be interesting to see if somebody will pick him up for the stretch run and/or playoffs. (If the Giants were still left on their schedule, the Bills would have been the odds-on favorite for obvious reasons.)
