Baylor and Texas Had a Benches-Clearing Confrontation After Late Hit

After throwing an interception, acting Baylor quarterback Lynx Hawthorne made a late tackle that drew the ire of Texas. Longhorns safety Kevin Vaccaro came off the sidelines full of vigor and tripped — perhaps intentionally — over the fallen Hawthrone. This led to the entire Baylor team coming across the field for a brief, yet large pushing and shoving match.

Only Vaccaro’s actions earned a flag after order was restored, which is fairly remarkable considering how close this thing came to becoming an all-out brawl.
