Syracuse Punter Riley Dixon Hurdled an LSU Defender on a Fake Punt, Celebrated with a Punch

Syracuse is giving LSU a game at the Carrier Dome. The Tigers hold a 7-3 halftime lead. The Orange are pulling out all the stops, including a fake field goal run by punter Riley Dixon.

The play went for a first down thanks to impressive punter athleticism. Dixon’s celebration skills could use a little work, however, as he almost punched LSU’s Jamal Adams in the helmet.

The trickery proved pointless when ‘Cuse missed a 31-yard field goal a few plays later.
