Hockey Player Lays Out Referee in Preseason NHL Game

Referees are dropping like flies lately because of hits by players. In the NHL, those hits are at least unintentional. During Monday’s Canucks – Sharks game, Vancouver’s Yannick Weber chased a puck down the ice and referee Don Henderson did not get out of his way in time. Yannick dropped Henderson with a clean hit.
