Bobby Massie got a DUI earlier this year, and was suspended for two games. Adam Schefter reports on the bizarre circumstances behind the arrest (bold is mine):
Cardinals OT Bobby Massie returns today from a 2-game suspension. How he got 2 games might be more notable. On January 31, Massie knew he had too much to drink and so, rather than drinking and driving, he pulled into Cardinals training facility as a safe haven to sleep it off. A team security guard did not recognize the car and called the police, who arrived and wound up arresting Massie on two DUI charges that resulted in a two-game suspension that ends today. So Massie might be the first player to have his own team inadvertently call the police on him, leading to a two-game suspension.
The bolded part of this still needs some clarification. It sounds like he pulled into the Cardinals facility rather than continue drinking and driving, but had at least been doing so before he got there.
PFT also found a piece about the police report from the Arizona Republic last month, which said that Massie drove into the facility at 3 am, had a .14 BAC, and “told police he had been impaired by alcohol every day for the last ten years, but also said he did not believe he has an alcohol problem.”
