WCWS: Florida goes back-to-back with 4-1 win

OKLAHOMA CITY – Lauren Haeger opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first – then threw a complete game on the mound – as Florida became just the third squad in NCAA history to repeat as champions of the Women’s College World Series.

Haeger threw seven solid innings, allowing only one run and striking out five as the Gators beat Michigan 4-1 on Wednesday night.

Kevin Kugler and Leah O’Brien-Amico called the action on the Westwood One / NCAA Radio Network.
