The 2015 NBA Finals continue to be a ratings bonanza for ESPN/ABC. Thursday night’s Game 4 — the first game of the series that wasn’t close by the end of the fourth quarter — drew a massive 13.9 rating. Overall the ratings for the series are up 26 percent from last season. Per ESPN’s press release this was the company’s highest-rated Game 4 in over a decade and its highest-rated series through the first four games.

Safe guess: NBA executives wish they signed their latest, nine-year, multi-billion dollar television deal after the ratings for the 2015 finals game out.

Game 5 is Sunday night and will likely put up another huge number since the series is tied 2-2.
