PFT brings news of a class-action lawsuit filed in California against the NFL and DirecTV that seeks for fans to have the option to purchase out-of-market games from just their favorite teams, as opposed to having to buy every game. It’s too soon to know whether it will ultimately be successful, but this comes on the heels of DirecTV’s settlement of a suit involving its NHL package which will allow its fans to order this type of package.
Through all of this, Adam Silver stays playing chess — the NBA announced this week, on its own volition, that individual teams — and even games — will be available for purchase on its League Pass.
