The first trailer for Fallout 4 hit the Internet Wednesday morning. I’ll freely admit Fallout 3 is probably my all-time favorite game so today’s trailer made me temporarily excited, sue me.
#Fallout4 trended atop Twitter all morning, so I clicked on it. I fully expected a series of articles, “27 things we learned from the Fallout 4 trailer.” Near the top of the queue was a post from NESN. Normally I don’t associate NESN with video games, but go figure the game is set in post-apocalyptic Boston, so hey — content!
NESN writes that Fenway Park appears briefly in the trailer with these two photos. The first appears to have the Green Monster in the background, sans Citgo sign — which wouldn’t exist in the Fallout universe.
This looks a little clearer, with a stand-in for the Ted Williams statue outside Fenway visible. The Green-ish paint is a giveaway.
Fenway Park or not, I’m super excited for the game. Pass me a tin of Cram and some Rad-Away.
