WCWS: Michigan joins Florida in best-of-three final

OKLAHOMA CITY – It’ll be the Big Ten against the SEC in the championship series at the Women’s College World Series for the first time as Michigan and Florida remained perfect at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium win wins on Sunday.

The Wolverines defeated LSU 6-3 on Sunday to advance to the championship for the first time since winning the program’s only national championship a decade ago.

The Gators, meanwhile, needed extra innings defeat Auburn. Florida won 3-2 in nine innings to get a step closer to back-to-back championships.
