Tiger Woods' back was so bad that he couldn't even pick up his own tee

In addition to a short game in shambles, Tiger is now having playing partner Billy Horschel pick up his tee and grab his ball out of the hole.

Tiger Woods is somehow even-par through his first 10 holes of the Farmers Insurance Open. The North Course at Torrey Pines is one of the easiest setups on the entire PGA Tour, but the score is a bit of a miracle given that Tiger's game was already in shambles and now his back is flaring up on him again.

By about the third hole in his round, Woods started grimacing after almost every shot -- whether it was a full-swing off the tee or a pitching wedge from the fairway. He's walking gingerly, struggling to bend over, and seems on the edge of another withdrawal after almost every shot. This swing from the rough at his 10th of the day looked particularly ominous, but Woods somehow finished the hole with his first birdie of the day.

That birdie, however, would be only a momentary reprieve and Woods was back making a mess of things on the next hole. He airmailed a wedge shot about 30 yards over the green, leaving the Golf Channel analysts in shocked horror and this kid along the ropes giggling.

That would result in a double bogey and Tiger looking not only injured, but totally disinterested in playing the rest of his round. He's got just seven holes to go, but the "WD watch" remains on high alert.
