Pro Football Player of the Year: J.J. Watt

J.J. WattThis season’s Pro Football Player of the Year is Houston defensive lineman J.J. Watt.

Watt was everywhere for the Texans, turning in arguably the greatest defensive season in NFL history – and catching three touchdowns on offense as well.

Watt recorded 20.5 sacks to become the first player in NFL history to post two 20-sack seasons. He also forced four fumbles, recovered five and had a pair of defensive touchdowns – one on an interception and another on a fumble recovery.

J.J. Watt was definitely “In the Zone” and he was named our Pro Football Player of the Year, brought to you by AutoZone, during Westwood One’s broadcast of the Super Bowl.

(Westwood One’s Jim Gray has the stats to show that J.J. Watt was In the Zone)
