NFL Draft podcast: Super Bowl fallout, RB talk and mock draft theory

On episode 39 of the podcast, we look back at the Super Bowl and what it means to the Patriots and Seahawks going forward. We also dig into this year's running back class and explain why we do mock drafts.

As the 2015 NFL Draft approaches, Dan Kadar of SB Nation and Matthew Fairburn of Syracuse.com return for episode No. 39 of the Mocking the Draft podcast.

This week's show is a hodgepodge variety show touching on several topics.

We begin the show with some quick Super Bowl fallout following the Patriots' win over the Seahawks. Considering they're the youngest team in the NFL and a full cache of picks in the draft, will New England a Super Bowl contender yet again in 2016?

We also go through the teams that could lose a draft pick – the Patriots, Browns and Falcons – and decide which transgression is the most severe. Also, you probably know that adidas is handing out these gaudy cars to the three fastest players at the NFL Scouting Combine. Which players could take them home? And what should the slowest player get?

We also dive into a discussion about running backs. What is their value, and could this be the year we start to see them taken highly again? We also go deep into mock draft theory. What's the point of a mock draft?
