NCAA basketball schedule and results: Oklahoma hosts Iowa State in Monday's marquee game

Complete coverage of the week in college basketball.

A week after slipping to No. 3 following its first loss of the season, Virginia impressed voters enough with big wins over fellow top 15 foes North Carolina and Louisville to climb back into the spot directly behind Kentucky in the new Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Once-beaten Gonzaga, which had replaced the Cavaliers in the second spot last week, fell back to No. 3. Duke and Wisconsin rounded out the top five for a third consecutive week.

A week after receiving just two votes from the AP, Oklahoma State re-joined the poll at No. 21 thanks to big wins over Texas and Kansas. The Longhorns fell from the rankings entirely, as did Georgetown, which moved aside to make room for new No. 24 Arkansas.
