The longtime Sonics teammates reunited in Seattle tonight to watch their children play.
Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton were one of the coolest pairs of teammates ever, connecting on alley-oops and leading the mid-90's Sonics to the postseason year after year. Fast-forward 20 years: Shawn Kemp Jr. is a senior forward at Washington, and Gary Payton II is a junior guard at Oregon State. Their teams met for the first time since Payton II transferred to Oregon State this year, and their parents watched the game together:
