The Portland Timbers beat the Seattle Sounders on Sunday, 3-1. The players were obviously motivated by the Timbers Army’s new tifo that was inspired by The Nightmare on Elm Street movie franchise. I know a lot of time, money, and effort went into this, but Portland’s Providence Park isn’t even on the same side of Portland as Elm Street. And who is paying for all these tifos?
