Bubba Watson Owns a Jet Pack Golf Cart

Bubba Watson, two-time Masters champion and sixth-ranked player in the world, is a very forward thinking person when it comes to golf course transportation. Watson, who is sponsored by Oakley, has previously been seen driving a golf cart hovercraft and now he and Oakley have gone even farther.

Watson and Oakley teamed up with Martin Aircraft Company and created what they call, BW-Air, a jet pack golf cart.

Here’s Oakley’s description of the project:

Finally, golfers can see the course and their game like never before with a unique bird’s eye view of every hole as well as the freedom to fly easily from location to location in any environment without restriction. It’s almost an unfair advantage.
The BW-Air is equipped with a bespoke rotary 210 horsepower engine that allows it to climb as high as 3,000 ft with air speeds up to 46 mph. It also has all the features of a typical golf cart, including space for clubs, sand bottle holders and everything else you need for a great round.

The project has been in the works for three years and if you want one of these bad boys you’ll have to fork over $200,000. You’ll also have to get properly certified. You will also have to annoyingly clip in and out every time you want to fly to your ball or the next tee.

Not a fan of the white color? Don’t worry, the jet pack will be available in “a variety of colors.”

Apparently I’m going about life all wrong because I don’t have one of these.
