Flyers Fan Throws Sneaker On Ice to Celebrate Brayden Schenn Hat Trick

Brayden Schenn scored 3 goals in the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3 win over the Calgary Flames on Monday night. As every knows, scoring three goals is referred to as a “hat trick” and fans often throw hats on the ice to celebrate. Last night was no different, except one fan threw a sneaker.

We’ve heard of fans smuggling various aquatic life into arenas to throw on the ice, but never an extra shoe, which leads us to believe that somebody is going home with a bare foot. Is there anything the people of Philadelphia won’t throw on the field of play? Either in anger or celebration? Iit seems there is not.

And while we are looking at the picture from the hat trick that raises the most questions, let’s also look at the best picture from the hat trick. Flying Flyers Fedora! (It may also be a panama, but that lacks the alteration.)
