Stephen Curry is good at basketball; he and the Golden State Warriors are the fastest team to win 50 games in NBA history. Curry is also pretty good at golf and his teammate Andre Iguodala also likes the game.
In June, after the Warriors beat the Heat in the NBA finals, coach Steve Kerr promised to use a connection at Augusta National to get the team onto the course.
Via ESPN: “When we won, I’m yelling at Steph, ‘We’re going to Augusta!'” Finals MVP Andre Iguodala said after Golden State beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games. “You know how everybody goes to Disneyland? We’re going to Augusta.”
On Monday night the Warriors beat the Hawks in Atlanta, they have an off day on Tuesday so you know what that means? Golf at Augusta.
According to ESPN, Steve Kerr said that he was heading straight to Miami to prepare for their game against the Heat on Wednesday, but CSN Bay Area reported that Curry, Iguodala, Jerry West, and team owner Joe Lacob were set to tee off at the home of the Masters.
You know what they say, “golf wins again.”
