Ohio State had a 54-49 lead over Nebraska with a little over two-minutes left in regulation on Saturday. Ohio State sophomore forward Jae’Sean Tate was guarding Nebraska guard Tai Webster. Tate decided to do that obnoxious thing where a defender slaps the floor. While Tate was doing that, Webster went around him. Webster got into the lane and Tate fouled him from behind. Webster hit both free throws and the Cornhuskers went on to force overtime. Sure, the Buckeyes ended up winning, 65-62, but hopefully players around the country have learned that they shouldn’t slap the floor during games.
