During last night’s blowout CBS showed video of Rob Gronkowski at 5-years-old brutalizing a pinata with a mighty blow and catching all the candy before his less athletic classmates got a crack at it.
He truly was destined for greatness.
I mean, look at those hacks. Grippin’ and rippin’ it. If Little Jimmy’s head gets in the way then Little Jimmy’s goes to the school nurse. Those are the breaks.
As impressive as young Gronk’s physical skills are, his instincts can’t be ignored. Using his considerable height to his advantage is just brilliant. Go to the sugar river’s source. Can’t teach that stuff.
Present day Gronk displayed the youthful enthusiasm of a five-year-old when presented with the video after the game — showing not much has changed.
