Young son of Nebraska assistant fights cancer, gives best postgame press conference

"My favorite play was the players doing great!"

Avery Harriman is the 7-year-old son of Nebraska men's basketball assistant Chris Harriman. He's also tougher than most people four times his age. This brave little boy has been fighting leukemia, and a scan over the weekend indicated that he remains in remission. It's a wonderful next step for a boy who touched the entire Nebraska program and led to player Shavon Shields shaving his head in solidarity with the young boy.

Shields' favorite play of the game? Shooting free throws and hearing Avery cheering for him. This is a truly wonderful video.
